Water Hygiene in Public and Private Institutions
For operators of public or private facilities such as day-care centers, schools, stadiums, department stores or company buildings, strict regulations apply in Germany with regard to the quality of the drinking water provided.
Since, according to the Federal Environment Agency, an estimated 20,000 to 30,000 people still fall ill each year due to Legionella in drinking water, the last amendment to the Drinking Water Ordinance further tightened the requirements and imposed a duty to regularly inspect drinking water systems in accordance with certain specifications. Due to the often complex drinking water installation in schools, stadiums airports, etc. compliance with the regulations on the sterility of drinking water is often feasible only with great effort.
The spread of Legionella or other microorganisms can, in addition to damage to health, also result in financial losses and criminal consequences.
This makes it all the more important for operators to provide a sustainable and reliable solution for safe water sterilization right to the last sampling point. With our LiquidClean LC systems, we offer you a system that combines exactly these features and permanently reduces costs. As the pH-optimized sodium hypochlorite flows through the entire circuit with the water, it unfolds its antibacterial effect throughout the active line system. Existing biofilm, which is an ideal breeding ground for bacteria living in water, is degraded gently.
Connected to the incoming water line, LiquidClean LC systems treat all cold and hot water. Thus, you have hygienic drinking and industrial water in all areas. Of course, the system and the pH-optimized sodium hypochlorite comply with the requirements of the DVGW (worksheet W229, W540, W551) as well as the Drinking Water Ordinance (TrinkwV). Corrosion of conduit walls and other components is i.a. due to the dosage largely excluded.
